Leavenworth Lodging, Activities

Leavenworth, Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake

There is still time! Go snowboarding, skiing, take in a sleigh ride or go hiking. Slip on your snowshoes and hike to Hidden Lake. Hidden Lake provides a wonder experiance with nature. At the lake you can find wildlife like deer, elk and raccoons. You may even catch a glimps of a bobcat.
Birds are starting to return. Even though it is early for the traditional bird watching, it is fun and exciting to see the different birds returning to the area. Flickers, Grossbeaks, Bluejays, Bluebirds, Eagles, Redtail Hawks, they are starting to become very active in the area.

Be prepared. Dress warm, bring a camera, and enjoy.

Remember, Lake Wenatchee - Fish Lake Recreation Area has a lot to offer and it's just up the road from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA.

I've been to Hidden Lake before, it's really cool there. I was there during the summer. It's a pretty decent trail heading up to the lake. Love to do it again in the winter sometime.
